Delhi Police recruitment is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the posts of Constable (Executive), Sub-Inspector, and other ranks in the Delhi Police force. Objective-type paper of 100 marks divided into 4 sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 Qs), General Knowledge & Current Affairs (25 Qs), Elementary Mathematics (25 Qs), and English (25 Qs). Duration: 90 minutes. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
Male candidates: 100-meter run in 16 seconds, 1.6 km run in 6.5 minutes, long jump 3.65 meters (3 attempts), high jump 1.2 meters (3 attempts). Female candidates: 100-meter run in 18 seconds, 800-meter run in 4 minutes, long jump 3 meters, high jump 0.9 meters. Measurement of height, chest, and weight also conducted.
Thorough medical examination as per Delhi Police medical standards including vision test (distance vision 6/6 both eyes, near vision 0.6), hearing test, dental check, cardiovascular fitness, and overall health assessment.
Verification of all original documents including educational certificates, age proof, caste/category certificates, domicile (if applicable), and character certificate.

Yes, there is no state domicile restriction for Delhi Police Constable recruitment. Candidates from all over India, including West Bengal, can apply and appear for the exam. The CBT can be taken from any designated centre across India.
The age limit is 18 to 25 years for Constable (Executive). Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is applicable.
Delhi Police Constable salary ranges from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month (Pay Level 3), plus allowances including Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance (Delhi-specific HRA), Transport Allowance, and risk allowances. Total monthly emoluments are approximately Rs. 35,000-45,000.
For male candidates, minimum height is 170 cm (165 cm for SC/ST candidates). For female candidates, minimum height is 157 cm (150 cm for SC/ST). Chest measurement for males: 80-85 cm unexpanded (77-82 cm for SC/ST).
